Greenlee County is located in the southeastern part of Arizona. According to the 2010 census, its population was 8,437. It is the least populated county in the state of Arizona.
Greenlee County has great range in its terrain from high alpine country over 8,000 feet above sea level in the northern portions to desert areas in the southern part of the county.
